CERTIFICATION

STL recognizes change as a positive factor for development and constantly adopts new techniques and adjusts its logistics strategy to remain competitive. Quality Control is an essential ingredient of STL’s strategy for the enhancement of its products and services. STL is an ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 22000:2005 (Food Safety Management Systems) certified company. STL’s ISO slogan is ‘Observe Measure Analyze Innovate’.

STL has also acquired UTZ CERTIFIED certification. UTZ CERTIFIED means “good inside”. UTZ CERTIFIED certification creates an open and transparent market place for agricultural products, and is one of the leading coffee certification programs in the world.

STL has also acquired RAINFOREST ALLIANCE certification. RAINFOREST ALLIANCE CERTIFIED means that the product (or a specified ingredient) was produced by farmers, foresters, and/or companies working together to create a world where people and nature thrive in harmony.

FOOD SAFETY POLICY

Sondhi Trading Limited (STL) sources coffee and tea regionally and supplies this produce, regionally and internationally. STL shall ensure food safety in the food products STL trades, by adhering to statutory, regulatory and its customers’ requirements.

To achieve the above, STL management shall ensure that:

  • STL communicates its policies and practices to its employees.
  • STL communicates externally up and down the food chain any issues concerning food safety.
  • STL implements, and maintains its food safety policies.
  • STL sources its food from safe and authorized suppliers.
  • STL’s suppliers of goods and services are aware of the importance of complying with food safety standards in support of STL’s logistical operations.
  • STL’s informs, trains, and provides its employees with the knowledge and tools required to perform their work in a hygienic manner in compliance with prevailing industry and ISO 22000 standards.
  • STL reviews and monitors its food safety systems continuously to comply with food safety standards.

STL shall comply with the food safety requirements of ISO 22000.
