Tea Blending

This is to cater for blending needs in the competitive tea market. The system can blend one hundred tons in ten hours. It is hygienic state-of-the-art plant. There is no human contact with the tea during the blending process. A pneumatic dust extraction system ensures that dust impurities are removed during blending.

Magnets located strategically extract ferrous metal particles. A vibro screen traps and eliminates timber shavings, scraps of paper and twine etc. from the pre-blended tea. The system employs non abrasive gravity feeding and mixing to blend the tea. Tea packages are fed on a conveyor belt in a computer generated sequence. This ensures that the specified proportions of each grade are blended together in six ton batches.
